Since I made writing a regular habit, I’ve always had to get myself started with music. It’s become like a Pavlov’s dog effect both for my creative pursuits, but also working life. What’s been on top of my mind in conversation lately is the strangeness of memories. I know I’ll remember this past week because of the panic I felt driving in the snow and the comfort later of having my brother here with his dog—a change in scenery and daily life. Over a year ago I announced the blog content was changing and that I was no longer going to publish writing advice.
